Gen Con Preview: Lairs

Greeting Adventurers!

You've waited a long time to get a shot at going pro and entering the Adventurers Guild. This is your chance to join the ranks of legends like Brian The Brave and Curious Carl. Your final test is to build a devious dungeon for an opponent to run and to explore a dungeon built for you! You'll get that opportunity at a gathering of epic proportions in the village of Indianapolis, called Gen Con!

Lairs is the exciting game of dungeon building and exploration, and it will be available for purchase at the KTBG booth #2310. In this two-player duel, you and an opponent will have the same set of walls, traps, treasures, and monsters, as well as a starting point and an exit. Behind a screen, you'll both construct a winding labyrinth filled with danger and deception. Taking turns, you'll advance through your opponent's lair, documenting your progress as you go. You'll look for treasure as you battle monsters and dismantle traps. Once you've reached an adventuring threshold, you can head for the exit...if only you knew where it was.

The Lairs base game will include Box Zero with new monsters, traps, and cards to discover. It gives you just a taste of the unlockable content available in the game. We will also have some copies of the Lairs: Adventurer's Pack and Lairs: Deeper Dungeons expansions. Want more?
